If you don't mind me stepping in, the support tool was created for several reasons besides just collecting logs and such. The tool does help to perform a "Clean" install for folks that are having issues with Malwarebyes such as issues with a normal uninstall. We like to recommend using the tool for clean installs to ensure there are no issues left behind. Keep in mind, when you do use the tool to perform a clean re-install it does remove all your settings and anything in quarantine.
